Tim Cousins is a versatile creative professional, working in a range of mediums. Whether it’s underwater photography, social media content creation, producing marketing videos or commissioned illustrations. His work is focused on attention to detail, storytelling and coming up with unique design aesthetics. 

 

Having first studied Video art at UNSW after high school Tim’s passion and career path has always revolved around media and the arts.Tim has had two art exhibitions and won 3 short film competitions: Falls Creek short film competition 2016 (best short and people’s choice), Niseko Short film 2017 and Adrift film festival 2020 (winner of realism)

 

After 2 years working on an expedition superyacht travelling the pacific ocean as Videographer/Deckhand Tim’s passion for Underwater photography blossomed. An experienced freedive and SCUBA diver, this drive led him to two years working as an underwater photographer and social media manager of Ningaloo whaleshark and dive in Western Australia. 

 

Along with this diverse range of experiences and skills Tim has worked on several freelancing projects involved in weddings, real estate, maternity shoots, social media reels, tourism businesses and community events.

 

Tim’s illustrations are diverse in themselves, with a strong influence in detailed architectural ink works to colourful simplistic dreamlike cartoons. Most recently the marine environment, and the vessels used to explore this underwater world is what he is most interested in depicting currently.
